APR 158B Plumber Apprenticeship Math and Print Reading Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 2 Credits: 5
Continues related training for the plumber apprentice to study theory and trade practices. Includes mathematics, installation practices, print reading, related 2017 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC), health and safety, sanitary drainage, and venting.
Prerequisite: APR 158A with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Solve basic problems of related trade math using percentages, algebra, and geometry. Make common conversions.
- Identify related OPSC articles.
- Demonstrate common installation practices.
- Describe industry identified occupational health and safety practices.
