APR 253H Electrician Apprenticeship Motors and Controls

Offers training for the inside wire electrical apprentice. Includes motors, generators, controls, safety, and applicable Oregon Electrical Specialty Code.

Prerequisite: APR 253G  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Apply the theory and techniques of the trade. 
  2. Identify the skills required at their level of apprenticeship. 
  3. Interpret and apply the applicable section of the National Electrical Code as required for a license. 
  4. Describe and perform the technical skills required of a journeyman inside wire electrician.
