APR 253I Electrician Apprenticeship Fiber Optics

Covers applied electrical theory, residential, and commercial wiring practices, busways and motor fundamentals. Applies applicable Oregon Electrical Specialty Code for Inside Wire Electrician Apprentices and safety best practices.

Prerequisite: APR 253H  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Read and interpret construction plans related to basic fiber optics wiring. 
  2. Locate, interpret, and apply National Electrical Code standards to residential and commercial wiring jobs.
