Focuses on identifying variable refrigerant flow, hydronic and steam heating systems; troubleshooting retail refrigeration systems; and the importance of appropriate customer relation skills. Designed for Oregon State recognized apprentices working in the HVAC/R trade.

Prerequisite: APR 256H  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Recognize a variable refrigerant flow system. 
  2. Identify commercial hydronic and steam heating systems. 
  3. Troubleshoot retail refrigeration systems. 
  4. Demonstrate appropriate customer relations skills.
