APR 256J HVAC/R Apprenticeship-Advanced 1 Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 2 Credits: 5
Focuses on energy conservation methods and building management equipment, as well as indoor air quality and water treatment. Designed for Oregon State recognized apprentices working in the HVAC/R trade.
Prerequisite: APR 256I with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify water-related problems in HVAC systems.
- Describe indoor air quality problems in HVAC systems
- Explain the use of energy conservation equipment.
- Communicate the importance of building management systems for energy conservation.
- Find the answers to LEB test questions.
