APR 256J HVAC/R Apprenticeship-Advanced 1

Focuses on energy conservation methods and building management equipment, as well as indoor air quality and water treatment. Designed for Oregon State recognized apprentices working in the HVAC/R trade.

Prerequisite: APR 256I  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Identify water-related problems in HVAC systems. 
  2. Describe indoor air quality problems in HVAC systems 
  3. Explain the use of energy conservation equipment. 
  4. Communicate the importance of building management systems for energy conservation. 
  5. Find the answers to LEB test questions.
