Covers theory and trade practices for plumber apprentices. Focuses on installation of waste systems, hydraulic theory, isometrics, and related 2017 Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code (OPSC).

Prerequisite: APR 258K with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:

Explain installation of waste systems, protection of water supply, assembly of breaker valves and heating systems.
Relate hydraulic theory to plumbing maintenance.
Draw isometrics of systems and special components.
Interpret and apply knowledge of the OPSC to meet state standards in order to pass the Oregon licensing exam.
