APR 266H Sheetmetal Apprenticeship-Calculator Layout Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 2 Credits: 5
Focuses on architectural and mechanical sheet metal layout and fabrication principles and practices using a calculator.
Prerequisite: APR 266G with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Perform mathematical functions on the hand-held calculator to layout sheet metal fittings.
- Apply the functions to square, rectangular, and round fittings.
- Calculate parallel, radial and triangulation development.
- Use calculator as a shortcut method to fund true length in parallel, radial and triangulation development.
