ART 225 Type Design 2

Continues the study of typography as a design element in visual communications.

Prerequisite: ART 224  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Further analyze distinguishing characteristics of typefaces. 
  2. Distinguish qualities of type styles. 
  3. Develop criteria for design consistency in the design of an original typeface. 
  4. Refine the use of typography in a variety of projects. 
  5. Develop a sequence of typographic layouts for motion graphics.
