CG 102B College Preparation: International 1B Lecture Hours: 1 Credits: 1
Focuses on information, resources and strategies international students need to successfully transition from language study to college study. Designed for advanced non-native English speakers attending the Language and Culture Institute.
Prerequisite: CG 102A with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify college resources to formulate a preliminary career goal and related educational plan.
- Explain policies, procedures, and services needed to manage the educational process.
- Apply strategies relating to American classroom culture to transition to college academic study.
- Identify specialized resources for learning in the community college setting.
