CG 102B College Preparation: International 1B

Focuses on information, resources and strategies international students need to successfully transition from language study to college study. Designed for advanced non-native English speakers attending the Language and Culture Institute.

Prerequisite: CG 102A  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Identify college resources to formulate a preliminary career goal and related educational plan.
  2. Explain policies, procedures, and services needed to manage the educational process.
  3. Apply strategies relating to American classroom culture to transition to college academic study.
  4. Identify specialized resources for learning in the community college setting.
