VC 225 Layout 2: Intermediate Page Design

Further develops the skills required in design and page layout.

Prerequisite: VC 224  with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor.
Corequisite: VC 246 .
Student Learning Outcomes:
  1. Produce single and multiple page documents based on industry standard graphic design principles.
  2. Apply advanced typographic formats to digital documents.
  3. Create commercially acceptable multiple color documents.
  4. Apply professional standards in the design and typesetting.
  5. Refine the standard graphic arts methods and processes of producing work.
  6. Create mockups and mounted work for presentation and critique.
