AUM 176 Automotive Electrical Systems 2 Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 6 Credits: 5
Continues DC electrical systems for the repair and service of automotive vehicles. Focuses on body electrical systems and troubleshooting of individual systems.
Prerequisite: AUM 152 , AUM 168 , and AUM 157 , each with a grade of C or better; or consent of instructor. Student Learning Outcomes:
- Identify electrical systems, components, and component parts related to the repair and service of automotive vehicles.
- Use electrical test equipment to determine serviceability and necessary repairs to automotive electrical components and systems.
- Explain the theory of automotive electrical fundamentals and the application of those fundamentals regarding basic automotive electrical systems.
